SPEAKERS AREA

Dear Speakers,
On this page you will find some useful information for your participation in the Genoa Smart Week scheduled for the next 29 November
– 4 December. The event will take place in Genoa and will be broadcast in live streaming.

Speech

DURATION OF INTERVENTIONS
The keynote speeches last 12 minutes.
All other interventions have a duration of 8 minutes.
The interventions in the round tables foresee a time of 3 minutes per answer.
It is required to stay within the indicated times to give all speakers the opportunity to present their report.

PRESENTATION
If the speaker decides to use a supporting Power point / PDF presentation, it is recommended a maximum of 10 slides.
The speaker can independently control the sliding of the slides from remote with the screen sharing function.
The speaker can insert the event logo within the presentation, you can download it at the following link: LOGOS We ask the Speakers who will come in any case to bring their presentation on a USB key.
Please send your presentation in Power point or PDF format on Monday 22 November, for backup. Any videos within the presentation must be sent in separate files.

MULTIMEDIA CONTENT (for partners only)

the videos to be included in the program in the conference schedule must be sent as downloadable files, NOT as links because converting them would lose resolution it must be indicated whether the video is combined with the speech or is not connected to the speech.
the deadline for submission is Monday 22 November.

The presentations will be published on the event website as Conference Proceedings. If you do not want to consent to the publication or if you wish to provide a different version from the one used during the event, please inform the organizing secretariat by Monday 6 December.

Partecipation in presence

  • For the speakers there is the opportunity to participate in the event at the Representation Hall of Palazzo Doria Tursi, Via Garibaldi, 9 – Genoa.
  • It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the session.
  • We ask you to bring your presentation on a USB stick.

Remote partecipation

The Zoom platform is used for the event.

The Speaker will receive the link for the connection within the day before the intervention.
On the day of the event the speaker will be able to connect him/herself using the link received through email about 30/40 minutes before the start of the session: he/she will enter in a pre-broadcast private conversation mode where the staff will verify the connection and will be available for any technical questions.
The speaker can autonomously project and control everything scrolling the slides with the screen sharing function.
For technical problems relating to the Zoom connection and if you want a brief training on the use of the platform, please report it to Alberto Boccaccio: a.boccaccio@clickutilityteam.it.

VIDEO RECORDINGS OF CONFERENCES

The event will be registered, for this reason participating means giving your consent to the registration of the intervention.
Recordings of the sessions will be made available on the post-event website in the Replay section.
Recordings of the individual speeches will be available only for the speakers of the sponsoring companies.
